My "fun" this week was going to one of "my girls" bridal shower. Keara is one of my best friend's daughters. Unfortunately for all of us, my friend died almost six years ago and isn't with us for this joyous occasion. She is very much missed.
This is our girl at three. Wasn't she a cutie?
This is her today. Still a cutie! The fun of opening the presents. These are my wonderful friends. I love them! My beautiful girls with the bride to be.
Oh Nancy, this post brought a small tear to my eye. I am so, so, so glad that this bride-to-be has such a wonderful group of friends and friends of her mother supporting her right now! She is radiant!!! And your girls are so beautiful, too. You have lots to be proud of, lady!!

My face looks super chubby in that last picture! I watched the Jillian Michaels Shred to see what I was in for.....I got tired just watching it (way too many push-ups). Husband said he'd do it with me. It'll be a funny sight :)

Hey Nancy, Sorry I'm just getting around to reading everybody's blogs, it's been crazy around here. I'm glad your friend has you to share these happy times with. When my youngest daughter got married two years ago, it was so bittersweet because she was the apple of my parents eye. She literally could do NOTHING wrong! It was so sad that they weren't there, so I'm glad you were able to be a "stand in" for her mom! Also,I'm proud of your weight loss! Are you going to weight watchers? I've done that a couple of times and it so works, I really need to get back to it. Have you tried the dvd "4 Fast Miles"? It's all walking, but it is a real work out. Gotta run, Have a great Easter!
