My New Love Affair with Snow

Call me a hypocrit, if you want. I know I just told you last week that I was tired of snow. This morning, I changed my mind. I can't believe how pretty it is outside. I don't like the fact that we have just gone to Saturday school or the next week in June to make up snow days, but I'll worry about that later. Right now, it is magical outside. Mimi said we should all take pictures and share, so here are some of mine---

Out my front window--

I think it might be awhile before we use the hot tub again--

This is a six foot fence--

This is where my daughter's car would be parked if it wasn't stranded at Purdue-

But, God made it all so beautiful---

Was I right or what? It is totally beautiful!!!

  1. You get an A+ for your assignment today! Those are the most awesome snow pictures. I brought my camera to work with me but forgot to take pictures this morning. I will take some though and put them on. Thanks for sharing and Oh, by the way, when the snow melts and you decide to get that hot tub going, I just might come on by to try out your martini recipe!

  2. Thanks. I'll be waiting to see yours. The hot tub is running, we just can't get to it. It's not much fun when it's windy anyway. Please feel free to join me when some of the snow thaws. It is one of the most relaxing places I know, especially with a cocktail!

  3. I like that last one the best :) That's real pretty. But, the picture with the snow drift up the 6ft fence is pretty awesome too.

  6. Thanks for stopping by. I'm a pre-school teacher too. Almost 55!!! Does that make me a senior citizen? Yikes! Enjoyed your snow pictures. I want to come back and spend more time on your blog, but I am off to eat dinner with my parents. You will love blogging. It is so much fun to learn new things and meet new friends online. Have a wonderful day.
    Love & blessings in NC!

  8. Beautiful! Somehow all that snow skipped us in Hebron, but everyone I work with who lives in Valpo, Chesterton, and Portage called off work on Wednesday. Can't say I blame them!

  9. Hi there

I didn't have an e-mail address for you, so here are your "interview" questions:

    1) Why do you blog?
    2) What is your most prized possession...apart from people or your pets?
    3) What is your greatest regret?
    4) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?
    5) Where would you like to be in ten years...and why?

Thanks for doing this. I'm really looking forward to your answers! Let me know when you have them posted.

    Hugs!
