Who Wouldn't Be Happy?

I know that I have told you before that it hasn't been the best summer. There has been a lot of stuff going on. Some sad, some trying and some every day crap. Still, I need to see the big picture.
There are some very good things in my life. I have a wonderful family who mean more to me than anything. I have great friends that make me smile. I have a job I love to go to. I have my health and so does my family. Look at the picture of my mom with me and my sisters. Would you ever guess that she is rapidly approaching 84 years of age? I should be so lucky to look that good now. She is amazing.
So, here's my point. God has blessed me in so
many ways. I just need to keep that in mind and
remember that all things shall pass and things will
get better. In the meantime, look at what I have to
keep me happy! I am truly blessed!!

  2. Good God, B. Mama, you have a most gorgeous family, and you, your sisters and mother are STUNNINGLY beautiful!! The daughter on the far right in the last picture looks JUST like you!! I sure hope the bad stuff passes and you come out even stronger, wiser, and more lovely because of it...I'm sure you will. You're doing great looking on the bright side of things. Oh, and that baby? SCRUMPTIOUS!

  7. Nancy, Your mom is so youthful looking. You ARE very blessed to have your family around you. That is the best medicine for the soul. To have your daughter's so close to you and one another is very rare these days. We still need to go out before summer slips away from us...
I just want to pinch those cheeks of your grand-daughter.

  8. You are truly, truly blessed. I see so much LOVE... and then add to that the smiles and joyful faces and beauty both inside and out. Your mom is the center of all this wonder, and it shows in her eyes and her wonderful smile. The "little pictures" sometimes get in the way of the "bigger picture." This is life. The fact that the bigger picture is so magnificent and so important to you is a great help in trying times. We also take on so much... and a clear picture is sometimes hard to see. I hope and pray that those trying things get easier and a path is cleared for you. Thinking of you... !!

  10. Oh yes! You are truly blessed to live near enough to your mom, sisters, daughters and granddaughters! (I sure do miss my mom and would love to be able to even hear her voice again.)

Your family is gorgeous! & your granddaughters are adorable! especially the little one's cheeks are just perfect for squeezing :o) We called our kids and my hubby's cheeks in baby pics "Apple cheeks". And what pretty, pretty eyes!
