Shrinking Days of Summer/Week One

It is week one of the new challenge at the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans. It's called the Shrinking Days of Summer and it's a take off on the Biggest Loser tv show. I am on the most awesome there is.

I am proud to say that I lost 1.8 pounds this week. I was really surprised when I weighed myself this morning. Last week was the week from hell between the end of school, a death in the family and open houses. I hardly exercised at all, but I did try to watch what I ate and I guess that worked.

I'm excited for this next week. I have lots of time for exercise now that I am done with school for the summer. I just got the Wii Active and was finally able to try that yesterday. I really liked it. I got my bike out and cleaned up and took a little trip on that too. I love summer. I have lots of time and possibilities for exercise. Just wait and see how I do next week.

  1. GO Nancy!!! Congratulations on a great loss this week. You're shrinking girl!

  2. You go girl! And go Team Red!

(btw...I just did 10 miles on my bike and I'm about to do The Shred)

  3. Wow girl! You are really shrinking and I can just feel the motivation in your words. I haven't joined a team yet, but you are really encouraging me. I want you to know that I have been doing my sit-ups on the ball every night and morning, and after trying on my bathing suit, I felt some spark of wanting to eat better. You are an inspiration. Thanks and keep up the good work!

  4. That is awesome Nancy! Good job.

  5. GO TEAM RED!!!! You keep biking and I will, too!!!!

  6. Great job, Mom! Maybe you'll motivate me to start working out. That or how I look when I try on my new bathing suit :/ Yikes.

  7. Congrats!! You are awesome!!! :o)

  8. yay!!! you're doing a great job, and this is only the beginning! how exciting! :)

  9. Yea, keep up the good work. I am walking this summer and loving it. I want to get my bike out and start riding it too. Love & blessings from NC!
