This is what I looked at in the mirror yesterday.
A total moment of frustration.
Which turned into a moment of impulsiveness.
Is that a real word and is that how you spell it?
And then a moment of trepidation.
Which turned into a moment of laughter.
Then the "aha" moment.
Which led to the "I think I like this" moment.
Closely followed by the "No, I really love this" moment.
What I don't have a picture of is the moment this morning when I realized I couldn't make my hair look anything like this. It is going to take some time to learn.
Head over to
Beth's and see all the moments in time.

ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great moment to capture! If the first photo is of you being frustrated, I wouldn't mind looking like that! I do understand the frustration with hair though. When my hair gets to a certain length, I also look at myself with frustration and I also impulsively go out and get a haircut. Love the new look though!

ReplyDeleteYour moments are like being right there with you! It was like I was IN the mirror! Your photos are beautiful, but YOUR expressions in the moment are PRICELESS! AND I LOVE YOUR HAIR! It is sassy and classy and oh-so-hip! You are a rockin' grandma, Nancy!

ReplyDeleteLove love love it! Hang in there and you'll get it. If you don't after a few days, call your hairdresser and go back and let her wet it and then watch you as you dry it so she can tell you what you're doing wrong. It really is a very flattering cut.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
