It is getting to be that time of year when things start going 90 mph at school. Pancake breakfasts, Mother's Day presents, Preschool Olympics, graduation. The list goes on and on and that's just at school. May is always a crazy busy month for everything, it seems.
Believe it or not, Jack turned two. He had a wonderful time at his party and he got a Harley. He loves that motorcycle. Now, he can keep up with his sisters in their jeeps.
It is looking like I am going to be traveling the majority of July and I am very excited. I'm 90% sure that I will be taking a trip to the east coast with one of my very best friends. We will go to New York City for a few days to visit her brother and see some sights. Then we'll meet up with some of her girl cousins for two days of NYC fun. After that, we'll take the train to Maryland where she will meet up with her husband and dad for a family reunion. Dick is going to drive in to meet me there and we'll go on by ourselves to who knows where for a week or so. We haven't decided yet where we are going. Possibly the Poconos or Williamsburg. Then the last week of July, we'll go back to the lake in Cassopolis, Michigan with our kids and my sisters family like we did last summer.
We did some remodeling in the kitchen. We got new countertops and dishwasher. I painted and made new curtains. It's all done in red and yellow and I love it. I took some pictures, but I don't love them. When I take some better ones, I'll post some.
Dick is on a fishing trip in southern Indiana. He is having a good time. Abby is going to Purdue after work Friday for one last time before Myles graduates next weekend. I am looking forward to having the house to myself for a whole night before Dick gets home.
Last, but certainly not least, this little sliver of moon. I love taking pictures in general, but the moon is always one of my favorite things to take.
